Tis the "Season"

Let's start it off right!  Welcome to the Italian Riviera
(or at least my part of it!)...

Yes, I did post this video once before, about a year ago.
But it makes me really happy.  Hopefully it does the same for you.

Thank you thank you thank you - it made me happy too. I watched it twice! smiling and singing along.

How far is your village from Arma di Taggia. I was there for a conference a few years ago and fell in love with the Riviera di Fiore.

Thanks Martha. This is actually the other "half" of Liguria, the Riviera di Levante (from Genova to the Tuscan border). IMO the better half of the Riviera! :)

Absolutely beautiful! We spent some time in Camogli and Cinqe terre 3 yrs ago and fell in love with this section of the Liguerian coast. I am happy to be planning a return trip to this region in 3 wks and was thinking about laying over for 4-5 nights in a town we have yet to explore. We are more interested in hiking than beaching as it will still be May but we do love to get out on the water via boat whenever the opportunity arises.Do you want to share your beautiful village it looks like a great town to stay in and explore from. Otherwise do you have any input to share I was thinking about Moneglila, Portovenere, or Sestri Levanto. We will be arriving from Venice with a car. Thanks for sharing :) Tish

Tish - I live in Lerici which is a wonderful base for exploring the area. Portovenere is one of the most magical places in Italy, but it is not as accessible (also a good thing!). Lerici is 10 minutes from the autostrada, 12 minutes from the nearest train station and there is the ferry boat right from the port that can take you to Portovenere, Le Cinque Terre and Portofino. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
